This spectacular cushion is hand embroidered in fine silk floss and hand woven cotton.
These were usually made to be part of a dowry and it dates to the early 1900’s. It is in good vintage condition but is not perfect and has been mended at some point. Geometric motifs in cerise & black & ochre colours with metallic silver trim & 4 corners with tassels. The reverse side is also pretty.
