Front - Flame Stitch Velvet is a contemporary interpretation of a motif that traces its roots to 15th -century Europe. It may have evolved from a decorative tradition introduced by a Hungarian princess who became part of the Medici family. The jagged Point de Hongrie stitch merges with the traditional straight or brick stitch.
