Imagine the stories this beautiful leather suitcase could tell! Emblazoned with original stickers collected from the owners ‘Grand Tour’ of Europe – these include “Hotel Bristol Carlsbad”, “Cairo Menahouse Hotel Pyramids”, “Grand Hotel Trippoli Nord Africa” and ”Roma Ala Littoria”.
The interior is in excellent condition considering its age and usage, with leather straps to secure ones possessions. Original brass lever locks and stickers that dates this suitcase to the1880’s. This truly is a fabulous historical find and would look wonderful displayed in either a residential or commercial space (and a wonderful memory if you've stayed at any of these hotels, whose stickers adorn this).
We haven't cleaned locks or leather and there is some wear on the leather corners.
Circa 1880's | Origin - no markings on the suitcase, however we believe it could have been made in England, France or Germany.
