This large plate is hand painted in typical Italian style from the Umbrian town of Deruta where this style of hand painting has been done for centuries. Beautiful intense colours with typical Renaissance style painting of person in portrait profile.
It is perfect for either display (hanging wire on the reverse) or can be used as a serving platter. It is signed by the person who painted it.
Purchased in a vintage shop in a small Italian town, it is from approximately late 1970’s.
